Robin was born and raised in Pinellas County Florida. She holds a Technical degree in graphics and marketing/advertising from Pinellas Vocational Tech., an AA in Fine Art from St Petersburg College, a BA in Fine Art from the University of South Florida and a Masters degree in Arts In Medicine from the
University of Florida.
Robin has an extensive background in art education which includes starting three
Art in Health programs in Pinellas County.
- Art in Health for at risk youth at the Pinellas County Police Athletic League
- Art in Health for veterans with PTSD and addiction
- Art in Health for teens with addiction
She is certified in Art Ministry and has a deep faith in Christ. She has published two art book/ devotional/ journals and is currently working on her third. 100 Cups of Compassion and The Twisted Leash can both be purchased online at Amazon, Target and Walmart.
She has taught drawing, painting and a Create Yourself Happy class for the continuing education program at Flagler College, St Augustine FL.
Although Ms. Hamman has over 30 years’ experience in art education and art in health, she is also an accomplished acrylic and oil painter. Her works are owned by various local and state politicians as well as two NYC radio personalities. She is a very expressive painter and uses color to evoke emotion in her work.
